How long does it take for the sand and refinish service?

It depends on the size of the area, but in general, the process can take 2 to 3 days to be concluded. This includes the sanding, the application of the new finish, and curing time. Although curing time can vary depending on the conditions, the final work is always carried out with maximum efficiency to minimize inconvenience.

What happens if my hardwood floor is deeply damaged?

If there’s extensive damage, we might recommend the replacement of some of the damaged floorboards before sanding and refinishing. The sand and refinish process is more efficient for floors with superficial damage.

Is it possible to sand and refinish floors that have been refinished before?

Yes, the sand and refinish service can be done on floors that have been through this process before. However, the efficiency of the service depends on how many times the floor has been refinished. If the floor has been refinished many times, there may be a decrease in the thickness of the wood, which can limit the amount of sanding possible.
